FRANCESCA GIOVANNA LANZOTTI
Francesca Giovanna Lanzotti is a Ph.D. Student in Fusion Science and Engineering (cycle XXXVII) jointly run by the University of Padua (UNIPD) and the University of Naples Federico II (UNINA) with the affiliation of Consorzio RFX and Consorzio CREATE. She is an Engineering Trainee and a Research Fellow in the Metrology and Reverse Engineering Group at Fusion for Energy (F4E) in Barcelona. Her research interests include methods and tool for the design for assembly of complex systems, particularly of tokamak machines, with a focus on System Engineering, Requirement Management, Verification&Validation through the product lifecycle, Virtual Fitting technique, Dimensional Risk Management, and PLM system architecture and customization. She was invited as an Invited lecturer for the Special Session “Design Methods in Fusion Engineering” during the ADM 2023 International Conference. She attended the International Joint Conference on Mechanics, Design Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (JCM 2022) and the 32nd Symposium on Fusion Technology (SOFT 2022). She received the award “Talented Students” reserved to the best 76 students (>75000) of the University of Naples Federico II (A.Y. 2020/2021). She is an associate member of ADM.
