Sara Buonocore is a Mechanical Engineer and a PhD candidate in the Department of Industrial Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (UNINA). She is member of IDEAinVR, working in Virtual Reality laboratory. She also works for C.R.E.A.T.E. Consortium, on the European project DTT (Divertor Tokamak Test), in fusion field. In particular, she is part of the Remote Handling team, working of remote control of robotic machines through Virtual Reality technologies. Her research interests include virtual prototyping, Mixed Reality technologies, human-centric design, Human Machine Interface design, digital twin of complex robotic systems. She has co-authored 3 journal papers, 3 posters and 3 conference papers/book chapters. She is member of ADM.
