BENEDETTA MARIA VITA OSTUNI
Benedetta Maria Vita Ostuni is a Ph. D. student in Technology, Innovation and Management in the Department of Industrial Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (UNINA) in partnership with the Department of Management, Information and Production Engineering at University of Bergamo (UNIBG). She is a Team Member of the BIOIC (Bioinspired soft robotic systems for cognitive production) project <https://www.bioic.unina.it/>. Her research interests include the design, prototyping, modeling and control of soft actuators with stiffening capability for the development of soft wearable assisting robots, soft grippers and soft manipulators. She has co-authored 5 conference papers/book chapters. She is the recipient of the "IEEE Italy Section 2022 Master Thesis Award" on New Challenges for Energy and Industry – Technology Category. She is member of ADM, IEEE and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.
