TEODORICO CAPORASO


Teodorico Caporaso is Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (UNINA). He is the responsible of the project “Wearable systems for biosignal acquisition” funded by “PON-RICERCA E INNOVAZIONE 2014-2020 – REACT-EU tematiche dell’innovazione” Azione IV.4. His research interests include design of wearable system for human motion analysis and biosignal acquisition, sports engineering, user-centerd design, biomechanics, ergonomics, innovative prototyping techniques for soft mechatronic systems. He has co-authored more than 10 journal papers and 20 conference papers/book chapters. He is co-inventor of 7 patent-pending applications. He is co-founder of 3 UNINA Spin-off companies. He is the recipient of several awards in the research and technology transfer activities, including the 2021 Premio Leonardo - for the best thesis on made in Italy in the sector of Sport (Premio CONI) in the year 2019, and the 2019 and 2021 editions of Start Cup Campania, for the best technology transfer projects born from University in the Campania Region. He is member of the Executive Committee of ISEA Society and member of ADM society.
