Salvatore Fusco

SALVATORE FUSCO


Salvatore Fusco is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (UNINA). He is involved in the LongOps project via the Herobots spinoff, a research project related to the Enhanced Control of Flexible Long Reach Manipulators.  His research interests include the design and development of mechanical products, modelling and simulation of mechanical systems, model-based planning and control of soft robots, tendon driven prototype systems. He has co-authored 3 conference papers/book chapters and he is co-inventor of 1 patent-pending applications.  He is involved in the Herobots s.r.l. with focus on R&D activities about modelling of mechanical systems and design optimization of robotic systems.
