FRANCESCO CARBONE


Francesco Carbone is an Architect with a Master degree in ergonomic optimization of a transport vehicle through digital human model. He achieved a Ph.D. in Virtual Methods in Industrial Design at the Department of Aeronautical Engineering of University of Naples  Federico II. He was the Architecture Leader of JL Ideas DII for JOMP (Joy of Moving Park) project with Ferrero Soremantec, a project related to motor play equipment through the use of vr technologies and and the assessment of compliance with the rules uni en 1176. He was coordinator of JL Ideas DII for SiPuòRifare – Postazioni ad Artem con INAIL for the reintegration into employment of people with disabilities. His research interests cover the area of creativity and innovation, product design and development, user experience, additive manufacturing, virtual and augmented reality, graphic desing and data visualization. Currently, his research activities focus on Assistive Technology and Accessibility, Virtual Ergonomics, Augmented Work Safety. He has co-authored more than 5 journal papers and 5 conference papers/book chapters. He has proposed one UNINA Spin-off company.
