Antonio Lanzotti is Full Professor in Design Methods of Industrial Engineering. He is the Director of IDEAS, Rector delegate for PE11 – Made in Italy PNRR project, Scientific Responsible of Task Force of Ateneo Industry 4.0 and Sustainable Development and delegate of Polytechnic School at the International Affairs Committee. His research interests include Design Methods, bio-inspired design, human-centered design, robust design, mechanical design, AR/VR tools and serious game for safety, dentistry engineering, sport engineering, design for additive manufacturing, digital twin and ethical design for disabled people. He has co-authored more than 100 journal papers and 100 conference papers/book chapters. He is co-inventor of 5 patents and He is co-founder of 4 UNINA Spin-off companies. He is the recipient of several awards in research and technology transfer activities (2019 European best practice for Safety, 2021 editions of Start Cup Campania and 2022 MBDA Innovation Award). He is member of ADM, ASME, ISEA, IEEE and Italian Ergonomics Society (SIE).
