FRANCESCO GIUSEPPE CIAMPI

Francesco Giuseppe Ciampi is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (UNINA). He is part of the Cogito Lab research team and collaborates with the Quartz Laboratory from Isae-Supméca and the Suniswell group. His PhD program involves a co-direction agreement between the University of Naples and ISAE-Supméca. His research activity focuses on the implementation of Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) in human-robot collaboration. Additionally, he investigates eXtended Reality (XR) solutions to enhance the exploitation of PINNs in real industrial applications. He took part in the EnerMan (Energy Efficient Manufacturing System Management) project, working on two different tasks: an AI-based predictors to provide indicators of in-plant energy status, and an Augmented Reality (AR) platform to enhance user awareness of sustainability aspects.
