FRANCESCA MASSA


Francesca Massa is a PhD student (Cycle XXXIX) in the Department of Industrial Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (UNINA). She graduated in the master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering for Industrial Design and Production at University of Naples Federico II (UNINA). She works in Virtual Reality Laboratory named MARTE. She is involved in the design and development of a Multi-sensory Mixed Reality system for dynamic training of workers in high-risk environments monitoring the Human Factors, as part of her PhD research activities. In particular, she dedicates her study to understanding what influences UX with VR systems, studying Human Factors. In addition, she tests the VR/AR application developed and collects data from the experimental campaigns conducted. Her research interests include Mixed Reality technologies, Virtual Prototyping, Human-Centric Design, Human Machine Interface Design, and Human Factors. She is first author of one conference paper, and co-author of one conference paper. She is a member of ADM.
