ANDREA FIMIANI


Andrea Fimiani is a Phd Student in the Department of Industrial Engineering at University of Naples Federico II (UNINA). He is involved in the design and procurement follow-up for the DTT Remote Handling Test Facility. His research interests encompass control system architecture, model-based control of robots, robotics software development, path planning in confined spaces, collision detection and avoidance algorithms, and the use of virtual reality technologies in control systems. He has co-authored 1 conference paper. He is involved in HEROBOTS with focus on R&D activities about software development for robot control and digital twin.
